Tuesday (3/3/15) - Played futbol in the evening for the last time in this organized game. I wore my Rosario Central jersey, and we lost. Turns out I was 1-0 wearing my Newell's jersey and 0-2 supporting Central.
Wednesday (3/4/15) - After class I stopped by the Hostel to book my skydiving appointment for Friday afternoon, and then walked around the park next to the river, did my homework, and looked around. They have a nice war memorial and an area that is more or less dedicated to a few signature attractions. There is a large monument with an amphitheatre and plenty of viewing rows/steps in front of a columned, stone, roof cover. It's a nice little area right next to the river.
Then I walked the short walk to Cordoba street, the shopping area, and walked around for a bit. This is where I learned a lesson from a birdie, which I'll share in another blog.
I made my way home to help out with the kids, and then went to a late dinner for one of the other language student's (Deniz from Turkey) birthdays. We went to "Bajada Espana", a nice seafood restaurant on the river. I got there really late but it was very pleasant.

Thursday - Went to the PT clinic for the weekly Thursday lesson, and this one was over the cervical region. It was cool to be the dummy and learn in Spanish, no matter how much my brain hurt afterwards.
Then I went to the bus station to buy my bus tickets to Iguazu Falls. It is a 20 hour bus ride each way, but the cost is much better for me because I can pay in cash (not card online for a flight). For $1,800 (about $150 USD) pesos I got round trip tickets, transportation to the actual falls in Iguazu, 2 meals per bus trip, and a "cama" seat (which means it leans really far back and makes sleeping comfortable) so I saved on a hostel. 40 hours on a bus though... gulp. It was definitely a surreal feeling booking these tickets because it kicked off my nomadic adventures of uncertainty.
This is probably one of points when I came to terms with my Spanish, I was doing all of the communicating and gathering of information in Spanish with the bus station employees. It's a gratifying feeling.
I met the family at home and we went back to the USAR (JCC in Rosario) to hang, kill time, and celebrate Purim.
Later that night, I had plans to watch Remember the Titans with Claudio, but those fell through unfortunately. I was going to make him watch it because it is just such a great movie and practice for his english and my spanish.
I went to sleeping smiling because I knew I would be going skydiving the next day. A legit bucket list item, and maybe my last event ever as a human. ------SPOILER ALERT-- I survive.------------
